Peppa Pig World and Paultons Park review
For a little while now I’ve been feeling like the only mum on Earth not to have taken their toddler to Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park.
It’s not as though I have a good excuse. Tin Box Tot is rapidly heading towards the big three, is Peppa mad and we live just 40 minutes away. Parenting fail! That was until earlier this month when we visited with friends.
Most of our family days out so far have revolved around farms, play parks and walks – what I class as good wholesome fun that doesn’t cost a pretty penny. I think this was also part of my reluctance to go see Peppa Pig. At £93 for a family of four (in 2015) it’s quite a large expense for a day.
However, I also believe in special treats every now and again, and we knew Tot would be excited to meet her hero. Plus at 93cm, she went free.

Our visit to Peppa Pig World at Paulton’s Park
We booked our tickets the night before and were able to go straight to the park entrance.
When we got there we found out that one of the girls who we’d paid for could walk under the one meter bar so we were able to get a free ticket for her to return another day.
We grabbed some maps and set off for the main attraction – Peppa Pig World. We had told TBT where we were going during the car journey but she didn’t really understand until she saw the Peppa signs in the park.
Rides at Peppa Pig World
The beauty of Peppa Pig World is that children of all ages can go on all the rides.
As a consequence the whole place is one big buggy park. But that’s great because it means everyone is having fun rather than taking it it turns to stand around like lemons.

We had a go on Windy Castle and Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, we visited Peppa’s house, played at Mr Potato’s Adventure Playground and had a ride on Grandpa Pig’s train.
Meet and greets with Peppa
The highlight for TBT was the meet and greet with Peppa and George.
Her eyes lit up, she waved and shouted their names, and had a few impatient tears (banging her head on my camera didn’t help). It was a small taster of the excitement that I think we’re going to experience this Christmas.

Look at her face! So happy – your post brought back a lot of memories of our trip. We don't have quite such a smile photo with peppa and George…
Great review! Sometimes it is important for little treats isn't it, I'm glad that you enjoyed your day out. Thanks for linking with us at #toddlerapprovedtuesday, good luck in the giveaway! 🙂 x
My daughter has recently become obsessed with Peppa, so no doubt she'd love this, but it's a bit far for us unfortunately x
Ah we loved it there when we went last year with our (tall for age boo) 3 year old and baby. Can't wait to go back when our baby is a bit bigger – better get saving!

Awwww, my two loved Peppa Pig when they were younger and I did plan to take them at one point. We never got round to it 🙁 And it looks fab! I love the house on the hill, it looks soo cool 🙂

Is it wrong to be jealous of a 2 year old? I am SO SO jealous as we didn't get a chance to visit Peppa world before we left the UK and I'm sure I'm the biggest (oldest) PP fan! It looks like you had such a good time – look how happy TBT is. And she got to hold Peppa and George's hands – honestly I'm so jealous it's verging on being a bit wrong! Thank you so much for linking up to #ParentingPicks and next time we're back in the UK, we're THERE! Mim x
I am a toddler mum who hasn't got our girl there yet. I really want to go but I'm kinda a bit scared that we will NEVER hear the end of it – gah! #ParentingPicks
You are not alone, although it appears I now am! We STILL haven't made a visit but the youngest two would love to go! #triedtested #Toddlerapprovedtuesday
This is on our 'must visit' list – every time I read a review it makes me want to go more! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
It is really good for little people. I don't remember going anywhere quite like it when I was young. I hope TBT remembers it for a long time.
Ooh, I'm sure Thomasland will be next. We love a train ride 🙂
I must be even worse then, because N hasn't been at nearly age 5, and I'm frantically avoiding the place whenever he hears it advertised on the radio! Thankfully he's now moved on from Peppa….now he keeps going on about Thomasland.
Peppa Pig world is great fun and a lovely family day out, I've seen so many lovely pots from there, I wish it had been around when my kids were young. Stopping by from #TAT & #TriedTested
